Abstract
The overview covers selected topics on magnetic
dichroism in atomic core level photoemission: the geometrical
model in photoionization of laser polarized atoms and its
generalization, contributions to the complete experiment from
magnetic dichroism studies and nondipole effects in magnetic
dichroism.
