Abstract
This topical issue presents 12 cutting-edge contributions that showcase recent advancements in quantum computing technologies and their diverse applications. The collection spans fundamental developments in quantum error mitigation and correction, pioneering work in quantum computing applications, and quantum networks. Together, these papers demonstrate the remarkable progress being made in both theoretical and applied quantum computing, while highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of this rapidly evolving field.
