The features of dust ion acoustic waves (DIAWs) in a magnetized plasma composed of cold ions, nonthermal nonextensive electrons as well as stationary dust particles are presented. By considering the dust-ion collisions, the damped Zakharov–Kuznetsov (dZK) equation is derived by the standard reductive perturbation technique (RPT). In the presence of external periodic force, the solitary wave solution of dZK equation is given. The effect of system parameters on the phase velocity, Mach number, amplitude and width of DIAWs is discussed. It is found that nonthermal and nonextensivity parameters modify the properties of DIAWs. The phase velocity, Mach number and amplitude increase with increasing nonthermal parameter, but decrease with increasing nonextensivity parameter.
