Abstract
The study of interaction between two parametrically excited van der Pol–Mathieu–Duffing oscillators is conducted. We have shown the influence of parametric impact and cubic nonlinearity on the synchronization of oscillators and their behavior. An increase in the cubic nonlinearity coefficient leads to a decrease in the synchronization threshold and to a shift in the regions of parametric oscillations due to the shift in the resonance characteristics of partial oscillators. At the large values of the cubic nonlinearity coefficients a fractal structure is formed from the tongues of two-frequency tori on the boundary of the synchronization area.
