Abstract
In this chapter, a diagrammatic approach for the one-loop renormalization of the bosonic sector of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian is presented. The central part of this procedure is devoted to making UV-finite all the one-particle-irreducible Green functions involved in different scattering processes. This renormalization program is performed in the most general off-shell case with arbitrary external leg momenta using the covariant
-gauges. Therefore, a full list of counterterms and the complete set of renormalization-group-equations for the relevant effective operators is provided. A detailed survey of related literature using different approaches is also discussed.
