Abstract
One key challenge in this project is the design and production of four water-cooled stems with drift tubes for a buncher running at CW operation with RF power levels up to 24 kW. The cylindrical cavity has only a length of 540 mm and a diameter of 614 mm. This paper will discuss the approach of technical design and the production of the drift tubes performed as 3D printing.
