Abstract
A comprehensive assessment of the central department of the auditory analyzer was performed based on the data of evoked brain stem potentials. The presence of a relationship between pathological processes in the voice-forming apparatus and the auditory analyzer at the level of the central divisions (temporal lobe, gyrus of Heschl, Broca’s area) and brain stem structures was revealed. A study of short- and long-latent auditory evoked brain potentials in patients with organic and functional disorders of vocal function revealed changes in both the brain stem and cortical structures. It has been demonstrated that more pronounced changes in the sound-receiving analyzer occur in patients with organic disorders of the voice-forming apparatus.
