EPJ 25th ANNIVERSARY – YOUNG RESEARCHER MEETING GRANTS

EPJ 25th anniversary

2023 sees 25 years since of the launch of the European Physical Journal (EPJ), with the first issues of the core EPJ titles being published in 1998. To mark this anniversary, and in keeping with the long-held EPJ tradition of supporting early career researchers, EPJ is making available a number of grants to support meetings for young researchers throughout 2023.

These grants, which will have a value of up to 1000 EUR, are intended to help organisers with the general costs associated with holding a scientific meeting for early career researchers, or to enable them to support delegates who wish to attend but lack funding themselves.

Organisers are invited to submit an application for funding via the form below, outlining the name and purpose of the meeting, the number of delegates expected, and the intended use for the grant requested. Topics covered should be in fields covered by the EPJ portfolio; i.e. pure and applied physics and related interdisciplinary areas.

We welcome applications from all over the world, but in the event that we receive too many requests of the same quality, meetings taking place in SAC member countries will be given preference.

All decisions rest entirely at the discretion of the EPJ Steering Committee.

Dear Sabine, Sandrine, and Nicolas, your professional and efficient management supported our editing tasks enormously and made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The web-based SAGA system was very helpful for handling the workflow. Thank you all for your high commitment!
