Lanthanum Deficiency effects on the electrical and thermal properties of La0.7-x□xCa0.3MnO3 Perovskite Manganite

Investigation of thermal properties of La0.7-x□xCa0.3MnO3 according to the density of the Lanthanum Deficiency x using the Photothermal Deflexion Technique (PTD). We show in this work that both the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity increases with x. and heat transfer is exclusively assured by phonon. From the thermal diffusivity value, one can obtain an order of magnitude of the inter-atomic distance.
