Int this talk the symmetry aspects of collective processes in high energy heavy ion collisions are discussed. Particular attention will be paid to: Flow measurements as diagnostic tools; the three stages or modules of three dimensional CFD calculations; Rapid freeze-out and hadronization with constituent Quark Number scaling; and Viscous Fluid dynamics. The developments I report about in this talk were done in Bergen in collaboration with V. Magas, D. Strottman, B. Bäuchle, Yu. Cheng, M. Zétényi, K. Tamosiunas, E. Molnár, J. Manninen at the University of Bergen.
