Double polarization experiments at MAMI

Abstract

A broad experimental program is being carried in Mainz for the experimental verification of the fundamental Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum rule on the neutron and to measure the helicity dependence of the γn → Nπ(π) channels. In this review, the results obtained up to now using both polarized deuteron and ³He targets are shown.
