The mass dimension one spinor is a candidate to explain the dark matter content in our universe. This field is an eingenspinor of charge conjugation operator and has a peculiar mass dimension, which restricts its renormalizable interactions with the particles. As a dark matter candidate, its generic signature to be searched for in particle colliders is characterized by missing energy events, . In this work, we consider phenomenological aspects of a tree level mass dimension one spinor interactions based in Elko phenomenology and providing directions to its implementation to the new formulation of mass dimension one spinors in a pedestrian approach given the basics of a Monte Carlo simulation and recasting analysis, in order to explore possible to detect this kind of particle in nowadays colliders.
