The interferometry radii, obtained from the Gaussian fits to the two-particle momentum correlation functions for different high-energy heavy-ion collision experiments at the LHC and the top RHIC energies, are described in the integrated hydrokinetic model. The role of the different geometrical sizes of the colliding ions in the formation of the observed femtoscopy scales is investigated by comparing the results for Au+Au, Pb+Pb and Xe+Xe collisions at close values of the mean charged particle multiplicity.
