Discrete neural networks: firing patterns and synchronization strategies: basics for new AI technologies
Department of Mathematical Sciences, Politecnico Di Torino, Turin, Italy
This special issue contains 12 regular articles on nonlinear dynamical analysis of mathematical models replicating the neuronal behavior. Some articles highlight the applications of the memristor in neural network model, nonlinear behaviors, such as hidden attractors, extreme multi-stability and transient chaotic transition, are observed and part of manuscripts implement the hardware implementation of dynamical system and synchronization of systems are achieved. The articles in this special issue investigate nonlinear analysis with significance in improving accuracy and performance in several fields like communications, image and speech recognition and more.
