In this study, we develop a fractional-order model to explore the dynamics of Hepatitis C Virus(HCV) model in the conjunction with antibodies. We examine the existence and positivity of solutions. This analysis indicates that the virus-free equilibrium becomes asymptotically stable when the basic reproductive number is below one. The sufficient conditions for the stability analysis of the endemic equilibrium are investigated. We construct an optimal control model, using the control parameters as Direct Acting Antivirals (DAA’s) treatment and awareness program. Numerical simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.
