Clinical aspects of digital twins in medicine: a systematic review

The article reviews scientific sources published over the past 10 years on the use of digital twins in clinical practice and the possibilities of using digital twins in various medical fields. The concept and the development history of digital twin technology in global healthcare are discussed and the examples of created digital twins in various fields of clinical medicine are presented. The review also considers ethical and problematic issues regarding the implementation of digital twin technology in practical medicine.
